Once you have set up a Discovery search source and any associated source sites, you can create a corresponding search target to allow patrons to search against the Discovery search source. When you create a Discovery search target, you specify the Discovery search sources that the search target will use. After you create a Discovery search target, you must assign it to a profile to make it available for patrons to search.
Every search target must have at least one search result display associated with it. When you add a Discovery or federated search target, a new default search result display is created automatically.
